JSC “Transformer Plant AMPER” is a young electrical engineering enterprise of modern Armenia. It is the leader of the transformer industry of the post-Soviet Transcaucasia.
The main products of the plant at the moment are distribution transformers of the TMG type of energy efficiency levels X1K1 and X2K2, designed to supply general-purpose electrical consumers.
Currently, the construction of workshops has been completed and the installation of technological equipment for the production of dry transformers with air-barrier insulation and with cast insulation, as well as for the production of transformer windings of size IV has begun.

A distinctive feature of the design of transformers of the AMPER plant was the embodiment of all the huge many decades of experience of the transformer industry in Russia and other CIS countries. High reliability of the final product is ensured by high-quality materials and components of the most famous industry suppliers with many years of production experience.
When designing and manufacturing transformers based on AMPER’s own TU, the experience of transformer plants in Russia and other CIS countries is used. The transformers have successfully passed mandatory and voluntary certification and fully comply with Russian standards GOST R 52719-2007, GOST 11920-85, GOST R 54827-2011, the international standard IEC 60076, as well as similar EU regulatory documents.
The AMPER plant has implemented a quality management system (QMS) in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The production of power transformers is certified according to GOST R 58490-2019, a certificate has been received. The AMPER plant’s QMS is supported by twelve developed enterprise standards (STP).
